This short film explores the emotional conflicts an American couple experiences while attempting to have a baby with a female surrogate in India. Shot entirely on location in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, and written and directed by Anya Leta, the film stars Ankur Vikal (Slumdog Millionaire, Nirbhaya), and Tessa Thompson (Heroes, For Colored Girls, Dear White People). The film has screened at Palm Springs, Rhode Island, HollyShorts, Woodstock, Rome Independent, Newport Beach, and has upcoming screenings in Goa and Alberta, Canada. Produced in association with notrac productions, and Little Red Car Films.
