SAHASI CHORI (BRAVE GIRL)
is a twenty-minute short film starring newcomers Albina Dahal and Jeewan Adhikary, shot entirely on location in Nepal as an NYU Tisch Asia thesis film, in association with Film Himalaya. Completed in 2012, it has since screened in over 28 festivals worldwide, received four "Best Short Film" awards, a Special Jury Prize, the Carl Lerner Award for a Film With Social Significance, and was voted "Best of Fest" by the audience at Palm Springs Shortfest. It's currently available for streaming and broadcast on Shorts HD via AT&T Uverse and DirecTV. Keep an eye on upcoming domestic digital distribution via iTunes and Amazon Prime.
